ODE TO THE BEAR
(24.03.2025)
Deep in the silent forest in the wild land,
Where shadows dance and trees stand,
There wanders a being strong and grand,
Bearer of secrets, the ruler of the land.
Through peaks and winding streams,
You roam with fur in beams and gleams.
In tales of old and legends fine told,
Your wisdom shines, purer than gold.
O wise holy bear, noble, kind, and free,
Guardian of nature, the majesty of tree.
In your presence, we find our awe,
O bear, we to you forevermore owe.
The great bear, in realms untamed,
Your spirit roars, your legend framed.
In reverence we bow, to your power might,
Empire of bears, in the moon’s silver night,
Bears in sight, in the star’s bright light.
From the ancient times to modern days,
You symbolize strength in millions ways,
Protector of earth, symbol of wealth.
In your shadow, we feel delight.
In your shadow, we find the light.
O wise holy bear, noble, kind, and free,
Guardian of nature, the majesty of tree.
In your presence, we find our awe,
O bear, we to you forevermore owe.
As the sky faded behind the cloud’s curtain,
In twilight lost meaning, all it could sustain,
We bid farewell to the bear’s embrace,
But its spirit lingers, leaving its trace.
